If you're happy and you know it clap your hands... If you're... (Song’s playing in mind) What if you are unhappy? People are especially stereotype on creativity only will happen in a sunshine situation. Well, that is not true, sometimes... at least for this special moment.
A historic record breaking typhoon Manghkut with potential 240km/h is having a full frontal to Hong Kong. At time of writing, signal no.3 is hoisted and will expected to experience no.8 by 2a.m!
While the government and resident are shocked by the forecast from the Hong Kong Observatory, our like-minded connected one thing immediately — windows!
Why? Hong Kong is most famous for its shopping, food and the skyline of high rises. That means the majority of citizens are living in cement jungle. Unlike few storey-high constructions, under a hurricane category storm is likely life vulnerable.
Nevertheless, under these worrisome circumstances, #Sweersourbitterspicy gathered some photos of how people treating it serious with a sense of humour. Co-incidentally, the name Manghkut in Chinese (山竹) is a name of tropical fruit, Mangosteen and it is also the first two characters in Chinese writing, a famous dim sum, Steamed Beef Meat Ball (山竹牛肉). No wonder people are making good laugh and simile for it.
